Our journey begins in the vibrant culinary scene of Hong Kong, where the Ginger Miso Butter Salmon was a favorite dish when this couple visited the "City of Life". This dish embodies the delicate balance of flavors – the subtle heat of ginger, the umami richness of miso, and the silky smoothness of butter, all complementing the delicate flesh of salmon. Topped with a Lemon and Nori Dusted Salmon Skin Chip and garnished with a butter-dipped radish, each bite is a symphony of flavors that transports you to the bustling streets of Hong Kong, where life blossoms amidst the tantalizing aromas of street food stalls.
Next, we journey to London, where the Deconstructed Beef Wellington transported the guests us to the heart of Soho. This classic British dish is a testament to the timeless elegance of love, with tender beef layered atop creamed Spinach and Savoyard Potatoes accompanied by a sherry-infused wild mushroom sauce and topped with a lattice puff pastry. As each layer is carefully assembled, the flavors meld together to create a culinary masterpiece that speaks to the enduring romance of the city's historic lanes.
Next we fly to Chicago where love took this event on a playful and unconventional journey with Miniature Chicago Style Hot Dogs. These bite-sized delights capture the essence of Chicago's vibrant food culture, with all-beef franks nestled in poppy seed buns and adorned with a variety of toppings – from tangy yellow mustard to zesty Chicago-style relish, diced onions, tomato slices, sport peppers, and dill pickle spears. Finished with a sprinkle of celery salt, each miniature hot dog is a celebration of love, laughter, and the joy of sharing a meal with loved ones.
